Only pay for what you send and receive
BT Mobile customers can benefit from fast WAP browsing
using GPRS (General Packet Radio Service). This will
be switched on automatically for all BT Mobile customers.
GPRS will be charged at £7.50 per MB in the
UK incl. VAT, and will be billed in kilobytes allowing
the customer to only be charged for the data they
transfer rather than how long they are browsing.
Customers can also use this service abroad. Charges
will appear as a separate itemised section on the
BT Mobile bill. It will show Domestic and Roamed
usage separately. Customers will see the time of
event, volume and cost.
GPRS will be billed on sent and received data - if
the customer downloads an item they will be billed
for the item as well as the cost of the GPRS bearer.
