As a valued customer we want you to be
happy and satisfied every time you shop
with us. We know that occasionally you may
wish to return an item, therefore please
find below details of our Returns Policy.
The
below Returns Policy forms part of our Terms
and Conditions of business and applies to
all orders placed with us or with brands
associated with gomarketcity.com Ltd where
we process and handle the order:-
Mobile
Phone "Cooling Off Period"
We offer a cooling off period with all mobile
phone packages (see below). Upon receiving
your mobile phone it is your responsibility
to check the handset and any other associated
items to ensure they are to your satisfaction.
If not they can be returned within the stated
cooling off period in their original unused
condition, complete with all packaging,
manuals and literature and any additional
items such as free gifts, accessories and
promotional vouchers.
Day
one of any cooling off period is the date
which is printed on your delivery note (or
the date of connection). The cooling off
or trial period becomes automatically void
and we will be unable to cancel your contract
if the handset and/or sim card are used
to make or receive calls or messages after
the last day of the cooling off period or
if the goods are not returned to us before
the end of this period. The period does
include weekends.
Orange
& 3 Mobile Phones
A 14 day trial period is offered with Orange
& 3 (Hutchinson 3G) mobile phones.
You
are able to use the mobile phone, but should
you wish to cancel the contract and return
the goods under the trial period you will
be liable for the payment of any calls or
messages.
In
the case of Orange Upgrades (where you keep
the same number whether you were originally
connected to a pay monthly contract or pay
as you go phone)
- a 7 day cooling off period applies. You
will be liable for the payment of any calls
or messages.
With Returns for Orange handsets, the sim
card must also be returned. Please note
that it is the responsibility of the customer
to ensure that any numbers or information
stored on the sim card are backed up before
returning the goods.
Day one starts from the day the handset
is connected (as indicated on the delivery
note included with your purchase) and the
item must be returned and received by us
in store by the 7th or 14th day as indicated
above.
T-Mobile
A 7 day trial period is offered with T-Mobile
mobile phones.
You
are able to use the mobile phone, but should
you wish to cancel the contract and return
the goods under the trial period you will
be liable for the payment of any calls or
messages made.
Day one starts from the day the handset
is connected (as indicated on the delivery
note included with your purchase) and the
item must be returned and received by us
in store by the 7th day.
Vodafone
& O2
A 14 day cooling off period is offered with
Vodafone & O2 mobile phones.
Please
note that if you use your handset and/or
sim card to make or receive calls or texts
messages you are agreeing to the contract
and will be therefore liable for remainder
of the term of the contract. If the handset
and/or sim card have been used we reserve
the right to charge an administration fee
of £20.00 or reject the return of
the product.
If
you are experiencing a problem with your
new mobile phone, please contact your network
provider, handset manufacturer or our Customer
Service Team, as very often this can be
rectified without the need to return the
product.
Day one starts from the day the handset
is connected (as indicated on the delivery
note included with your purchase) and the
item must be returned and received by us
in store by the 14th day as indicated above.
Cancellation
of Orders For Other Types of Goods
You may cancel your order within 7 days
of receiving the goods.
All
goods including all packaging and any additional
items such as free gifts, accessories and
promotional vouchers must be returned to
us in an unused and re-saleable condition.
Software
including DVDs and Video Games must also
be unopened.
You
must take reasonable care of all goods whilst
in their possession. Goods received back
in an unsuitable condition will unfortunately
not qualify for a full refund.
Manufacturer's
Warranty
All goods supplied are covered by a 12 month
manufacturer's warranty. Contact details
for the manufacturer's technical helpline
and customer services can normally be found
within the product manual or can be obtained
from us.
Please
note your warranty maybe invalidated in
some cases if you use non genuine accessories
with mobile phone handsets.
Please note we are unable to provide "loan
phones" during periods when the customer
is without their handset due to a fault
or repair being required.
Returning Goods
In the unlikely event that goods do need
to be returned to us you must obtain a Returns
Authorisation number from our Returns Department,
by contacting us on . Our staff
will advise if the goods can be returned
and where to send them to.
Return
carriage costs are your responsibility.
If goods are found to be genuinely faulty
we will reimburse your return postal charges,
up to a maximum of £8.00 (see refunds
section below).
We
very strongly advise customers to return
all mobile phones and goods over £30.00
in value to us using a tracked and insured
postal service such as Royal Mail Special
Delivery Service.
We
are unable to process any returns, refunds
or cancellation of contracts until the goods
have been received and checked at our offices.
If the goods fail to be returned to us you
will still be responsible for the payment
of monthly line rental on mobile phone contracts.
Royal
Mail Recorded Delivery should be used only
for returning accessories and goods below
the value of £30.00 only. Special
Delivery should be used for all mobile phones
and any items worth over £30.00. Compensation
to the value of only £27.00 can be
claimed from Royal Mail if items are posted
using the Recorded Delivery method.
All
goods should be packaged in a secure parcel
to avoid damage in transit ensuring the
contents are not on show.
Goods
should be in their original unused condition,
complete with all original items as below
(as applicable):-

Handset in original undamaged box (including
box inners)
- Mobile phone manual and literature
- Mains charger, battery and manufacturers
hands free kit
- CD-ROM software and data cable
- Leather case, personal hands free kit
& in-car charger
- Any free gifts, incentives or vouchers
included with the offer
A
charge will be made for any goods that are
returned back in an un-saleable or incomplete
condition as follows (as applicable):-

Damaged handsets - full repair or replacement
cost
- Damaged/missing handset box - £20.00
- Handset Manual - £15.00
- Battery, mains charger or manufacturers
hands free kit - £20.00 each
- CD-ROM software or data cable - £20.00
each
- Leather case, personal hands free kit
or in-car charger - £5.00 each
- Free gifts or incentives - charged at
the cost price + VAT
- Any other missing or damaged items will
be charged at the cost price + VAT
Refunds
Refunds will be processed within 7 days
(normally within 2 working days) of us receiving
the returned goods. Refunds will normally
be credited to the payment card details
provided at the time of ordering the goods
from us - e.g. refunded to your credit or
debit card.
A
charge (as above) will be made for any goods
that are returned back in an un-saleable
or incomplete condition. This will be deducted
from your refund if applicable or charged
against your debit or credit card details
as provided at the time of ordering.
We
are regret we are unable to provide refunds
or compensation for the loss of any costs
you have encountered and lost due to the
return or replacement of your mobile phone.
For example this includes printing of business
cards with your mobile phone number on or
downloading of ringing tones, logos, games
or other such items onto your mobile phone.
This list is not exhaustive.
Replacements
Goods requiring replacement or repair will
be despatched once the original items have
been returned and the fault has been determined
or repaired as required.
In
the case of mobile phones, in the unlikely
event we are unable to replace or repair
your phone and you are without your handset
for more than 28 consecutive days we will
provide maximum compensation equivalent
to one month line rental charge on the tariff
you are connected to at the start of the
28 days. We are unable to pay compensation
for periods of less than 28 days.
